Environmental Sustainability Policy
In our industry, greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, water resource stewardship, and waste management represent the most critical environmental challenges. At LEI, environmental responsibility is embedded into our core corporate policies and integrated into our management systems to drive sustainable transformation. We are committed to minimizing environmental impact through continuous improvement initiatives, including waste recycling and reuse, smart energy resource management, and green product design. Guided by our “Road to Zero” vision, we actively pursue long-term environmental resilience and progress toward a zero-burden operating model.

Note 1:
Since 2009, the China plant has completed GHG emissions' inventories and obtained third-party verification for the first time in 2010. Since then, it has consistently met its self-defined carbon reduction targets and passed third-party verification annually.
Note 2:
The Philippines site completed GHG emissions' inventories in 2025 and obtained third-party verification for the first time in Q3 of the same year. Annual inventories and verifications will continue going forward.
Note 3: The Taiwan site is scheduled to conduct GHG emissions' inventories in 2026 and complete third-party verification within the same year.
Continuous Carbon Reduction Initiatives
- Systematic carbon hotspot inventory and decarbonization action planning.
- Ongoing clean production technical upgrades and energy-saving emission reduction projects.
- Solar and green electricity adoption to increase renewable energy mix.
- Real-time power monitoring through enterprise-grade Energy Management Center integration with SAP.
- Monthly cross-department energy KPI review and PDCA-aligned corrective improvement cycles.
- Seasonal HVAC scheduling optimization and idle energy-use elimination.
- Employee-driven energy-saving proposal programs and progressive equipment enhancement.
- Integration of product carbon footprint research into new energy-efficient product design.
- Increased PCR and FSC certified material ratio to support circular economy goals
- Expanded order acquisition to improve line-load utilization and reduce unit energy intensity.
- Group-wide assessment for ISO 50001 Energy Management System adoption.
- Energy-efficiency employee education programs deployed across all site.
Employees are provided with pertinent training sessions aimed at fortifying their environmental mindset.
Following LEI's commitment to green policies, employees participate in training sessions to reinforce their environmental awareness and ensure the thorough implementation and promotion of associated measures. For example, the company continuously enhances production techniques, replaces high energy-consuming equipment, and reduces material waste to achieve greater efficiency.
